About Us

The Hind Fund is a philanthropic initiative launched by Hind Culture Lab. As the founding sister organisation of The Hind School, it supports ideas, programs, and institutions that bring India’s civilizational wisdom into real-world action. Focused on the emerging field of Applied India Studies, the Fund invests in education, research, and cultural projects that connect deep Indian knowledge with today’s global challenges. Based in New Delhi, the Fund helps shape a new generation of leaders who study through India, not just about it.

Who We Are

We believe India is more than a place—it is a way to understand leadership, knowledge, and social change. The Hind Fund works closely with The Hind School and other aligned initiatives to centre India’s intellectual and cultural traditions within global conversations. Our goal is to strengthen India’s soft power by building lasting platforms for education, research, and field engagement.

Our Vision

The Hind Fund is guided by a clear philosophy. We believe that learning must serve a greater purpose, that India’s civilizational experience should guide how we ask questions and seek answers, and that access and excellence must move together. These values shape the way we support scholars, programs, and partnerships across the Hind ecosystem.

Our Philosophy

India, both as an ancient civilization and modern democracy, offers powerful ideas for understanding ethics, governance, pluralism, and sustainability. Applied India Studies brings together this civilizational depth with hands-on learning and public engagement. The Hind Fund exists to support people and programs that bring these insights into practice—connecting India’s past with the challenges of the present.

Support The Hind Fund. Empower India’s Future.
"India’s soft power lies in its ability to inspire—not through domination, but through ideas, culture, and values. In a world seeking balance and meaning, our civilizational wisdom offers pathways of peace, sustainability, and global harmony."

— Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India

Though we are a new initiative, our vision is bold. By 2030, we aim to support over 50,000 emerging leaders through immersive learning journeys, field fellowships, and India-centric research programs. Our growing network of partners and collaborators is already laying the foundation for this impact—one idea, one fellow, and one initiative at a time.

Join us in shaping a new generation of changemakers—rooted in India, ready for the world.
